Introduction to wine tasting

Provided by the Verre d’Or Association

Open to everyone, this introductory workshop helps you learn the basics of wine tasting. You will taste and analyze five wines in a blind tasting, accompanied by an expert who has been a finalist in several blind tasting competitions, to learn the vocabulary for the sensory experiences you have through your nose and taste buds.

Elegant wines from Moldova

Presented by Gheorghe Arpentin

Wines presented by Gheorghe Arpentin, director of the Moldovan Wines Office, this workshop is an opportunity to taste white and red wines from two native grape varieties, Feteasca Alba and Feteasca Neagra. These traditional grape varieties are perfectly adapted to the continental climate of the country. The typicity of their aromas, elegant and delicate acidity contribute to these classy and very refined wines.
